Operation
For transporting the unit without gripping material, it is carried out in the "empty stroke position" (see
Fig. 20).
To do this, the automatic changer (2) must be locked (see Fig. 22).
This is achieved when the load is set down and the empty unit (HAZ without load) is lifted.
Lift the implement approx. 20 cm from the ground, pull out the spring cotter (1) slightly and
simultaneously turn it until it engages (now the implement can be transported on the carrier (e.g.
excavator) - without the gripping jaws closing accidentally.
As soon as the device is used again (lifting L-stones), the automatic changing device (2) must be
unlocked again (→ Fig. 22).
For this purpose, the unit must be placed on level ground!
Otherwise there is a risk of injury (due to uncontrolled movements of the unit).
Pull out the spring cotter (1) again and turn it 180° (→ Fig. 21).
