6.
To remove mineral buildup (scale):
a.
Fill the tank with 710 mL / 3 US cups
of distilled white vinegar.
b.
Replace the water tank cap and
gently shake to coat all sides of the
water tank.
c.
Place the tank on the base and soak
for 15–20 minutes. Vinegar will drain
into the inner chamber and loosen
scale in the tank and in the inner
chamber (including the transducer
and float).
d.
Remove the tank and pour out any
vinegar.
e.
Use the included cleaning brush and
a soft cloth to remove scale.
