- Wear approved safety glasses with side shields up to the
bottom of your helmet
GAS ACCUMULATION can make you sick or kill you.
- Turn off protective gas when not in use.
- Always ventilate enclosed spaces or use an approved air-
supplied respirator.
MAGNETIC FIELDS can affect implanted medical devices.
- Persons with pacemakers and other implanted medical devices
should stay away.
- Persons with implanted medical devices should consult their
physician and the device manufacturer before engaging in arc
welding, spot welding, gouging, plasma cutting, or induction
heating.
Noise can damage your hearing.
Noise from some processes or equipment can damage your
hearing.
-Wear approved hearing protection if the noise level is very high
or above 75 dBa.
CYLINDER CYLINDERS can explode if damaged.
Cylinders containing protective gas contain this gas at high
pressure. If damaged, the cylinders can burst. As cylinders are
normally part of the welding process, always treat them with
care.
• Protect compressed gas cylinders from excessive heat,
mechanical shock, physical damage, slag, flames, sparks,
and arcs.
• Install and secure cylinders in an upright position by securing
them to a stationary support or cylinder rack to prevent them
from falling or toppling.
• Keep cylinders away from welding or electrical circuits.
• Never wrap the welding torch over a gas cylinder.
• Never allow a welding electrode to touch any cylinder.
• Never weld on a pressure cylinder: an explosion will result.
• Use only correct shielding gas as well as regulators, hoses
and fittings designed for the specific application; keep them
and the parts in good condition.
• Always keep your face away from a valve outlet when operating
the cylinder valve.
• Keep the protective cap in place over the valve except when
the cylinder is in use or connected for use.
• Use the correct equipment, correct procedures, and sufficient
number of people to lift and move cylinders.
• Read and follow instructions for compressed gas cylinders,
associated equipment, and Compressed Gas Association
(CGA) publication P-1 as well as local regulations.
FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD.
• Do not place the unit on, on or near combustible surfaces.
• Do not install the unit near flammable objects.
• Do not overload your building's wires - ensure your power
supply system is adequate in size and protected to meet the
needs of this unit.
A FALLING UNIT can cause injuries.
• On heavy equipment, use only the lifting eye to lift the unit, NOT
the undercarriage, gas cylinders, or other accessories.
• Use equipment of adequate capacity to lift the unit.
• If using a forklift to move the unit, make sure the tips of the
ENGLISH

forklift are long enough to extend beyond the opposite side of
the unit.
OVERUSE can cause OVERHEATING OF THE EQUIPMENT
• Allow a cool down period, follow the rated duty cycle.
• Reduce current or duty cycle before welding again.
• Do not block or filter air flow to the unit.
FLYING SPARKS can cause injury.
• Wear a face shield to protect your eyes and face.
• Shape the tungsten electrode only on a grinder with appropriate
guards in a safe location using necessary face, hand and body
protection.
• Sparks can cause fire - keep flammables away.
WELDING WIRE can cause injuries.
• Do not press the torch trigger until you receive these instructions.
• Do not point the tip of the torch at any part of your body, other
people, or any metal objects when passing the wire.
MOVING PARTS can injure you.
• Stay away from any moving parts, such as fans.
• Keep all doors, panels, lids and guards closed and in place.
• Have only qualified persons remove doors, panels, covers, or
guards for maintenance as necessary.
• Reinstall doors, covers, or guards when maintenance is
completed and before reconnecting input power.
HIGH FREQUENCY RADIATION may cause interference.
• High frequency (H.F.) radiation can interfere with radio
navigation, security services, computers and communications
equipment.
• Ensure that only qualified people familiar with electronic
equipment install the equipment.
• The user is responsible for having a qualified electrician
promptly correct any problems caused by the installation.
• Ensure that the installation receives regular checks and
maintenance.
• Keep the doors and panels of a high frequency source completely
closed, keep the spark gap at the points in their correct fixation
and ground and shield against current to minimize the possibility
of interference.
ARC WELDING may cause interference.
• Electromagnetic energy can interfere with sensitive electronic
equipment such as computers, or computer-driven equipment
such as industrial robots.

electromagnetically compatible.
• To reduce possible interference, keep welding cables as short
as possible, as close together as possible, or on the ground if
possible.
• Place your welding operation at least 100 meters away from
any equipment that is electronically sensitive.
• Make sure the welding machine is installed and grounded
according to this manual.
• If interference still occurs, the operator has to take extra
