m) Selecting Access Mode
There are two options for the code lock to recognise an entered code:
• "Auto-Entry" function = automatic access mode
Pushing the crosshatch button
When the number of entered digits (e.g. 5 digits) is reached, the code lock will check the code.
If the user code is correct, the code lock will activate the respective output.
This access mode can be used, e.g., if many persons want to have access, since it permits
faster operation.
Important!
All codes (master code, user code, superuser code, visitor code) must have the same
number of digits, e.g. 5-digit codes.
If this is not observed, e.g. input of a superuser code will not work.
We recommend deleting all programming before switching from manual to automatic
access mode; see chapter 11. c).
• Manual access mode
After entering a user code, the crosshatch button
the code.
Every code (master code, user code, superuser code, visitor code) may have 4 to 8 digits;
different code lengths are possible.
This also leads to higher safety where trying out of codes by unauthorised persons is concerned.
Proceed as follows to select the access mode:
• The code lock must be in programming mode; see chapter 11. b).
• Enter the programming code
