b) Activation of the Outputs
There are several options for activating the outputs of the code lock.
Activating an output via transponder
The transponder must be held in front of the sensor surface (see figure in chapter 6, item 6). When
a valid transponder has been recognised, the assigned output #1 or #2 will switch.
If the transponder is lost, it can be deleted from the memory of the code lock. Until then, anyone
who finds the transponder could gain access.
Activating an output via user code
When a valid user code is entered at the code lock, the assigned output #1 or #2 will switch.
Everyone who observes code input may gain access.
Combination of transponder and shared secondary code
The transponder must be held in front of the sensor surface (see figure in chapter 6, item 6).
After successful recognition of a valid transponder, an additional code that is the same for every
transponder must be entered (separate codes can be programmed for outputs #1 und #2, see
chapter 11. f). Only if this code is also valid will the assigned output #1 or #2 switch.
The safety is much higher here than when only using a transponder or a user code.
Combination of transponder and separate secondary code
The transponder must be held in front of the sensor surface (see figure in chapter 6, item 6).
After successful recognition of a valid transponder, an additional code that has been programmed
separately per transponder must be entered. Only if this code is also valid will the assigned
output #1 or #2 switch.
You can programme a separate secondary code per transponder or assign the same code per
user group. Only persons who are both in possession of the transponder and know the code
can gain access.
An even higher safety would only be possible with a biometric access system.
