Drive belt

Adjusting / replacing the drive belt
CAUTION! When replacing the drive belt.
!
Make sure to replace with a drive belt as
specified by Husqvarna.
• Loosen the lock knob on the blade protector and open
the guard.
• Hold in the lock button for the blade shaft and loosen
the blade nut.
• Remove the blade and the flange washers.
• Remove the inner half of the blade guard and lay it on
the motor.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
• Remove the belt protector plate.
• Loosen the 4 screws (1) holding the motor plate. Then
screw the adjuster screw (2) for the belt tensioner
under the machine, either to tension the belt or to
loosen the belt when changing.

• Ensure the belt is correctly tensioned.
• Assemble the parts in the reverse order.

Lubrication of adjustable stand

• The adjustable stand can be lubricated with grease in
the guide tracks.

Repairs

All types of repairs may only be carried out by authorised
repairmen. This is so that the operators are not exposed
to great risks.
