Water quality
•
Normal clean tap water should be used.
•
In areas with hard water, a water softener is recommended. More frequent cleaning and
maintenance may be required.
•
Unfiltered water supplied from a well or any other unmonitored supply is not
recommended.
•
Do not drink the water from the water reservoir or water tank.
Fresh Air Inlets
CAUTION: Obstructing the fresh air inlet will result in poor
flame performance and damage to the fireplace.
•
There is an air inlet under the drawer that must not be
obstructed.
•
An additional fresh air inlet of 16 in
allows the air path to reach the underside of the unit is
recommended for optimal flame if the installation permits.
•
If using a grille, ensure the covered area has a larger
opening to compensate.
