Install batteries in remote control
The remote control is supplied with two AA batteries in a bag. Lift off the battery cover on the back of
the remote control and insert the batteries taking note of the polarity.

Customize flame effect
Install either the spacers or the slotted inserts, depending on the desired appearance of the flame effect.
Slotted inserts
Spacers
To use the slotted inserts, insert them into the
nozzle. Three slotted inserts fit into each nozzle.
To use the spacers, first break them along the
break line. Insert them into the nozzle and slide
them as desired.
It is recommended to place a spacer directly
underneath any log that crosses through the
flame to reduce condensation.
