The remote control display turns off when not in use to conserve power. To activate the remote, press

Standby
When it is in standby, the remote will display OFF. Press Enter to turn it on. When the unit is on, the remote will
display ON. Use the arrows to select the standby icon to put it in standby.
Pairing the remote control
Your remote control is already paired with your product from the factory. If it ever disconnects or you get a new
remote, it will need to be paired again. To pair the remote to the fireplace:
1. Open the drawer and press the rocker switch to the on (I) position. You should hear an audible beep.
2. Press and hold until PAIR appears on the display
3. Bring the remote control close to the product where the receiver is.
4. The product will start to beep and blink
5. Press to complete the pairing process. The product will go into standby mode.
