2�4�14 Sensor-controlled ventilation (Ventilation on demand - VOD)
The sensor-controlled ventilation operation is activated and adjusted using one or more optional air quality sensors.

• Reduced: Activation of the ventilation stage "Reduced" due to the measured sensor value.
• Boost: Activation of the ventilation stage "Boost" due to the measured sensor value.
• Diff: Hysteresis
• Stop time: If the ventilation unit runs at the boost ventilation stage for longer than 2 hours, the sensor-controlled
ventilation will be interrupted for the set stop time. In case of a setting of 0 hours, the ventilation unit will continue to
run in sensor-controlled mode.
Reduced: 800 ppm
Boost: 1000 ppm
Diff: 160 ppm
Stop time: 2 h
In order to use this function, at least one air quality sensor must be connected. The sensor-controlled operating function
can only be activated by the VOD timer.
Up to 3 different or same types of sensors can be connected to a ventilation unit with 3 free analogue inputs. The hig-
hest ventilation requirement has priority.
If a room temperature sensor is connected to analogue input AI2 (KWL-FTF 0-10V temperature 0-10 V sensor), only
analogue inputs AI3 and AI4 will be available for the air quality sensors.
In order to connect more than 3 sensors to a ventilation unit, the optional signal converter AIR1-SK with 6 analogue
inputs and one analogue output is available. Only the same types of sensor can be connected per signal converter
AIR1-SK.
