INTRODUCTION TO THE PFW3 PANEL

PFW3 is an air conditioning control system that can be used with the FCWI fan coil.
PFW3 consists of:
• a main unit with room sensor
• a panel (display unit)
• a 4-metre cable

FUNCTIONS OF THE PFW3 REMOTE PANEL

The following features can be operated by the buttons on the remote control unit.
POWER ON/OFF
Press button to turn the air conditioner on or off.
When turned on, the system will operate according to the last setting. The 2-digit LED and the other LED(s) will show the system
status.
The 2-digit LED normally shows the room temperature reading.
MODE
Press the MODE button to set the air conditioning mode:
• 4 operating modes (fan, cool, heat, auto) for FCWI_3V
• 3 operating modes (fan, cool, heat) for FCWI_2V_VL
If the two LEDS are not lit up, the setting is FAN mode.
The LED lights up to show that the setting is COOL mode.
The LED lights up to show that the setting is HEAT mode.
The and LEDs both light up to show that the setting is AUTO mode.
The system will work as the set mode after no mode is changed for 3 seconds.

Press the key to select the fan speed (AUTO, LOW, MED, HIGH)
At the first pressing, the 2-digit LED will blink the last setting. The setting will be changed by the next pressing.
The 2-digit LED will blink the setting for 5 seconds.
While auto speed is set, the fan speed (high, medium, low) will be changed automatically according to the system calculation.
The indoor fan will work according to the set speed after no fan speed is changed for 2 seconds.
NB: 1. The auto speed cannot be set in FAN mode.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
Press the or key to set the temperature in a range between 18 and 30°C.
At the first pressing, the 2-digit LED will blink the last setting.
The setting will be changed by 1°C with every pressing. The 2-digit LED will blink the setting for 5 seconds.
NB: the temperature cannot be set in FAN mode.
SWEEP
Press the SWEEP key to turn on/off the louver stepper motor.
NB: while the indoor fan is off, the stepper motor is stopped and SWEEP key is disabled.
AUTO START TIMER
While the system is off, it can be programmed to turn on in advance within a range of 1-24 hours.
