CAUTIONS
Before using the helmet for welding, ensure that you have read and understood the safety
instructions!
Severe personal injury could occur if the user fails to follow the warnings men-
tioned above, and/or fails to follow the operating instructions.
Auto-darkening welding helmets are designed to protect the eyes and face from sparks, spatter
and harmful radiation under normal welding conditions. Auto-darkening filters automatically change
from a light state to a dark state when an arc is struck, and then return to the light state when the
welding stops. The auto-darkening welding helmet comes ready for use. The only thing you need to
do before you are welding is to adjust the position of the headband.
Warning
1.
This auto-darkening welding helmet is not for laser welding and oxyacetylene welding / cutting
processes.
2.
Should this helmet not darken upon striking an arc, stop welding immediately and contact your
customer service or your dealer.
3.
This auto-darkening welding helmet will not protect against severe impact hazards, including
grinding discs.
4.
This helmet will not protect against explosive devices or corrosive liquids.
5.
Never open or tamper with the auto-darkening filter.
6.
Don't make any modifications to either the filter or helmet, unless specified in this manual.
Don't use replacement parts any other than those specified in this manual. Unauthorized
modifications and replacement parts will void the warranty and expose the operator to the
risk of personal injury.

7.
Never place this helmet and the auto-darkening filter on a hot surface.
8.
Don't immerse the filter in water.
9.
Don't use any solvents on the filter screen or helmet components.
10. Please pay attention to the manufacturer´s indications concerning the temperature range to be res-
pected while using the helmet (see technical details)
11. Storing temperature: -20°C - +70°C .The helmet should be stored in dry, cool and dark area when
not using it for a long time.
12. Protect filter from contact with liquid and dirt.
13. Clean the filter surface regularly; don't use strong cleaning solutions. Always keep the sensors and

14. Regularly replace the cracked / scratched / pitted front cover lens.
15. Never try to open the filter cartridge.
16. The materials which may come into contact with the skin can cause allergic reactions in some cir-
cumstances.
17. Using filters with a too high protection degree (too dark) may be harmful, as it forces the operator to
get too close to the radiation source and inhale harmful gases.
18. During work outdoors with strong natural light, it is possible to use a protective filter with protec-
tion degree higher by one.
19. During operation, other significant factors may also occur, yet it is difficult to assess their impact. They
include in particular:
The operator's position relative to the ray or the arc. For instance, depending on whether the
operator leans over the workpiece or stretches their hands, it may be necessary to change the
filter degree at least by one.
Local lighting
Human factor
20. The user is responsible for any damage resulting from a non-conform use of the
device!
