Long workpieces must be supported!
Property damage and injury by bouncing up the workpiece or tilting of
the machine possible!

17.9 After working process

After the working process the machine must be turned off:
Push OFF-button at the switch unit
Disconnect the plug so the machine is disconnected from the power supply.
Adjust the blade cover so that the shaft is completely covered.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE, STORAGE, DISPOSAL

18.1 Cleaning
The use of solvents, aggressive chemicals or abrasives can lead to damage to
paintwork and other property on the machine!
Free the machine from dust and other deposits after each use. Only use water and, if necessary,
a mild detergent for cleaning! The use of compressed air or high-pressure cleaners is not
recommended. The latter can reduce the operational suitability of the machine or shorten its
service life, because water (moisture) could get inside the machine when it is used.

18.2 Maintenance and Repairs

Danger due to electrical voltage! Always disconnect the machine from the power
supply befor servicing or maintenance work and secure it against accidentally re-
activation!
The machine is low maintenance and only a few parts require mainencance. Malfunctions or
defects that are likely to impair your safety must be rectified immediately!
Check that the safety devices are in good condition before each operation.
Check the connections at least once a week for a tight fit.
Check the correct and readable status of the Machine's warning and safety labels on a
regular basis.

 Once half of the workpiece has been machined
(5), change to the opposite operating side of the
machine.
 If the workpiece is no longer moved by the feed
(6), pull out the workpiece manually.
 After the work operation, switch off the machine
with the OFF-button and move the feed lever to
the lower position (feed deactivated).
 Wait until the shaft has come to a standstill
before carrying out further work!
 For planing, the before described thicknessing
procedure must be reversed.
