Checks prior to start-up
When the installation is completed, it is im-
portant to check following:
Outdoor unit
- The supporting surface must be adequate.
- unit slope towards the coil should be 20
mm (Heat pump units only)
- the fan should rotate freely.
- check that electric connections, power
line and auxiliary circuit are in accordance
with the wiring diagrams.
- with the main line breaker in the OFF
position tighten all terminal connections
and check that all moving parts of the
starter move freely.
- before starting the unit, check that the
crankcase heaters of the compressors have
been energized (using a separate power
supply) for at least 12 hours before start-up.
Compressor crankcases must have a
temperature of 15 - 20°C higher than the
ambient temperature.
Indoor unit
- tightness of the electrical terminals of the
control panel and of the connections.
- check that the installation is in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions.
- pour the contents of a water bottle on the coil
or into the condensate drain pan (on the
opposite side of the discharge) and verify
that no overflow or leak occurs and the water
drains correctly to the proper point outside.
Power supply
- Check power supply on the terminal block of
the outdoor unit to verify that the voltage is
correct.
- Verify once again that the connections
between the units are correct as per the
manufacturer's recommendations.

Collaudi primo avviamento
Completata l'installazione è indispensabile
eseguire i seguenti controlli:
Unità esterna
- la solidità del piano di appoggio.
- l'inclinazione dell'unità verso la batteria di
20 mm (solo pompa di calore).
- che la ventola giri liberamente nella sua
sede.
- che i collegamenti elettrici di potenza e del
circuito ausiliario siano stati eseguiti
accordo con gli schemi elettrici.
- col sezionatore principale aperto (posizione
OFF), stringere tutti i morsetti dei collegamenti
elettrici e verificare che tutte le parti mobili dei
contattori si muovano liberamente.
- prima di avviare l'unità, accertarsi che
l'alimentazione ai riscaldatori del carter dei
compressori sia stata inserita da almeno
12 ore. I carter dei compressori devono
trovarsi comunque ad una temperatura di
almeno 15 - 20 ° C al di sopra della temperatura
ambiente.
Unità interna
- il serraggio di tutti i morsetti elettrici del
quadro elettrico e dei collegamenti.
- accertarsi che l'installazione sia effettuata
secondo tutte le norme prescritte dal
Costruttore.
- versare il contenuto di una bottiglia d'acqua sulla
batteria o nella bacinella raccolta condensa
(dalla parte opposta allo scarico) e verificare
che non vi siano traboccamenti o perdite e
che l'acqua defluisca regolarmente fino al
punto esterno previsto.
Tensione di alimentazione
- Deve essere misurata sulla morsettiera
dell'unità esterna per verificare che
l'alimentazione sia corretta.
- Verificare ancora una volta che i collegamenti
tra le unità siano quelli prescritti dal
Costruttore.
