IMPORTANT:
• Outdoor units are equipped with an
expansion device.
This is a capillary type on cooling only
units and an Accurater biflow-metering
device on heat pump units.
Pistons of the Accurater move backward
and forward as indicated in figure.
• Indoor units must be without any
expansion device.
Removal of Accurater
piston
If the Accurater piston needs to be removed,
carry out the following operations:
• Remove the refrigerant from the unit, using
the special refrigerant recovery equipment
(do not release to the atmosphere).
• Unscrew the flare nut on the copper tube
from the Accurater body.
• Remove the retainer ring, taking care not to
damage the conical surface of the flare and
its "O-ring" gasket.
• Replace the piston.
• Reassemble the Accurater on the liquid
piping.
• Recharge the unit with R22 refrigerant in
the quantity indicated in Table V, or as
required for the complete system if indoor
unit has already been connected.
• Check the gasket seal of the Accurater for
leaks with soapy water or a gas leak
detector.

IMPORTANTE:
• Le unità esterne sono equipaggiate di
dispositivo di laminazione.
Esso è del tipo a capillare sule unità solo
raffrescamento, e del tipo Accurater a
doppio flusso sulle unità a pompa di
calore.I pistoni dell'Accurater laminano
alternativamente in un senso o nell'altro,
come rappresentato in figura.
• Le unità interne devono essere prive di
qualsiasi dispositivo di laminazione.
Rimozione pistone
Accurater
Per sostituire il pistone Accurater, procedere
come indicato di seguito:
• Scaricare il refrigerante dall'unità, tramite
apposita apparecchiatura di recupero,
(evitando di disperderlo nell'ambiente).
• Svitare il bocchettone a cartella sulla
tubazione in rame dal corpo dell'Accurater.
• Rimuovere l'anello di tenuta, facendo
attenzione a non rovinare la superficie conica
della cartella e la guarnizione "O-ring".
• Sostituire il pistone.
• Rimontare l'Accurater sulla tubazione del
liquido.
• Effettuare la carica di refrigerante R22
dell'unità nella quantità indicata in
Tabella V, oppure dell'impianto completo
se l'unità interna è già stata collegata.
• Controllare la tenuta delle giunzioni
dell'Accurater con sapone liquido o lampada
cercafughe.
