1 Insert tungsten electrode with the blunt end first into the back cap about
5 mm deep.
2 Screw back cap into torch body from above as far as it will go.
3 Unscrew screwed-in back cap half a turn counter clockwise.
4 Introduce centring ceramics into torch body. In doing so, the tungsten
electrode must be guided through the central bore of the ceramics.
5 The alignment gauge is used to determine the calibration dimension of the
tungsten electrode length. To do so, screw alignment gauge into torch body.
The tungsten electrode tip must rest on the stop shoulder of the groove.
Tighten the tungsten electrode in this position with the back cap.
NOTE
The poor current and heat transfer of loosely fitted plasma nozzles may
result in irreparable damage to the torch.
6 Screw plasma nozzle into threaded bore and tighten with alignment gauge.
7 Place insulating ring over the outer thread of the torch body until it makes
contact with the plastic protective cover of the torch body.
8 Screw gas diffuser onto the outer thread of the torch body as far as it will go.
9 Screw ceramic gas nozzle onto the outer thread of the torch body until it sits
gap-free in the radial groove of the insulating ring.
