Clean the internal components
Refer to
Figure 4
in the following procedure.
1. Remove the internal components from the magnet
housing as described in Steps 1 to 4 of
2. The anode assembly (3) has a bracket mounted close
to the disk on the anode. Use a strip of fine emery
paper to clean the gap between the disk and the
bracket.
3. Use a fine screwdriver or feeler gauge and ensure
that the gap is a minimum of 0.25 mm.
4. Degrease the cathode plate (6), cathode tube (7),
body tube (5) and anode assembly (3) in a suitable
degreasing agent.
5. Thoroughly soak the components in a suitable
laboratory detergent.
6. Rinse the components in clean water to remove the
detergent.
7. Rinse the components in methanol to remove all of
the water, then thoroughly dry the components.
8. Refit the components in the magnet housing as
described in Steps 5 to 8 of

Magnetgehäuse ausbauen.
2. Die Anodengruppe (3) ist mit einem Träger versehen,
der nahe der Anodenscheibe angebracht ist. Mit
einem Streifen feinen Sandpapier den Zwischenraum
zwischen Scheibe und Träger reinigen.
3. Mit einem dünnen Schraubendreher oder einer
Fühlerlehre prüfen, daß der Zwischenraum
mindestens 0,25 mm beträgt.
4. Katodenplatte (6), Katodenrohr (7),
Meßröhrenkörper (5) und Anodengruppe (3) unter
Verwendung eines geeigneten Mittels entfetten.
5. Die Komponenten in einem geeigneten
Laborreinigungsmittel gründlich einweichen.
6. Die Komponenten unter sauberem Wasser abspülen,
um das Reinigungsmittel wieder zu entfernen.
7. Die Komponenten in Methanol ausspülen, um

sämtliches Wasser zu entfernen; dann die
Komponenten gründlich trocknen.
8. Die Komponenten wie in den Schritten 5 bis 8 des
Abschnittes 5.3
einbauen.

Nettoyage des composants
internes
Reportez-vous à la
Figure 4
et utilisez la procédure
suivante :
1. Déposez les composants internes du logement de
l'aimant, comme indiqué aux opérations 1 à 4 de la
Section
5.3.
2. L'ensemble anode (3) comporte un support qui vient
se fixer à proximité du disque, sur l'anode. Utilisez
de la toile émeri fine pour nettoyer l'espace entre
ce disque et ce support.
3. Utilisez un tournevis à lame fine ou un calibre
d'épaisseur pour vérifier que l'écartement mesure
au moins 0,25 mm.
4. Nettoyez avec un produit de dégraissage approprié,
la plaque cathodique (6), le tube cathodique (7), le
tube (5) et l'ensemble anode (3).
5. Laissez tremper les composants dans un détergent
de laboratoire approprié.
6. Rincez les composants à l'eau froide pour évacuer
ce détergent.
7. Rincez les composants au méthanol pour enlever
toute trace d'eau puis faites soigneusement sécher
les composants.
8. Remontez les composants dans le logement de
l'aimant, comme indiqué aux opérations 5 à 8 de la
Section
5.3.
