Locking the controls: how to use the Locking function
This function enables you to lock the heating mode you have selected (e.g.: mode ON, temperature set
with the wheel on
To activate the Locking function, hold down the mode selection wheel a for more than 3 seconds
and release (the wheel may be at any position except OFF).
Light B flashes 5 times: the settings are locked.
The beforehand selected temperature cannot be altered.
You can still use the 2h Boost function by pressing wheel a (if the wheel A were set to ON or
or
).
To switch off the Locking function, hold down the mode selection wheel a for more than 3 seconds
and release. Light B flashes 5 times: the settings are locked.
You can change the position of the mode selection wheel a but any changes will not be regis-
tered.
- If you change the position of the mode selection wheel a, light B flashes.
- If you change the position of the temperature setting wheel d, the temperature will not
change.
After several hours of heating up, depending on your installation (the position of your device and its out-
put in relation to the volume of your room, the insulation level,...) you may record a different temperature
that the one shown on your device. In this case, you can calibrate the temperature displayed.
E.g.: The wheel D is set to 21° C.The temperature displayed on your ther-
mometer is 20°C.
Pull the outer ring of the temperature-setting wheel d while hol-
ding in the central part.
Set the wheel's outer ring to the temperature that you have recor-
ded with your thermometer (you can change the position by -3°C to
+3°C).
Then push the wheel's outer ring back to its initial position.
The device will heat up to maintain a temperature of 20°C.
if you wish to set your device to Frost-free mode :
If you calibrate the temperature setting, the position of the pictogram
will reach the end stop no longer on the pictogram

In the above example, with a calibration value of -1°C, the
