If you start sewing while the thread take-up is engaged in its ascending motion, the needle thread may slip out of the needle's eye.

W Place the material under the presser
foot, and lower the presser foot.
Place the needle thread and the bobbin thread
and draw them away from you. Then lower the
presser foot.
IB Coloque el material debajo del
prensatelas, y baje el prensatelas.
Coloque el hilo de aguja y el hilo de bobina y
sáquelos tirando de ellos en dirección contraria
a usted. Entonces baje el prensatelas.
W Placer le tissu sous le pied presseur
et abaisser le pied presseur.
Mettre le fil d'aiguille et le fil de canette en
place et les tirer en arrière. Abaisser ensuite le
pied presseur.
M Lower the needle.
Turn the handwheel toward you or press the
needle up/down switch to drop the needle on
the material.

W When the material is finished, stop
the sewing machine and actuate the
thread trimmer.
Press the automatic thread trimming switch
or depress the thread trimming foot switch.
When actuating the automatic thread trimmer,
the needle will stop in its highest position. (If
you use a thread as thick as count #20 or
more or a special-kind of thread, manuarily
cut the thread using a pair of scissore.)
* Alter the thread trimming, you can re-start
sewing even if the bobbin thread does not
appear on the throat plate.
M Cuando se haya acabado el material,
pare la máquina de coser y actüe el
cortahilo.
Pulse el interruptor de corte automático del
hilo o presione el interruptor de pedal del
cortahilo. Al actuar el cortahilo automático, la
aguja se detendrá en su posición más alta.
(Si usa un hilo de un grosor de cuenta 420 o
más o un hilo especial, corte el hilo
manualmente o con una tijeras.)
* Después de cortar el hilo, usted puede
reanudar el cosido aunque el hilo de
bobina no aparezca en la placa de agujas.

When making a knot on the reverse side of the material
Cuando haga un nudo en el lado equivocado del material

W When the sewing is finished, raise the needle
and the presser foot. Then draw both the
needle and the bobbin threads away from you
by approximately 10cm together with material,
and press the automatic thread trimming
switch or the thread trimming foot switch after
lowering the presser foot. (The needle and
the bobbin threads are simultaneously
trimmed.)
MAI acabar el cosido, eleve la aguja y el
prensatelas. Entonces saque los hilos de
aguja y de bobina en dirección contraria a
usted aproximadamente 10 cm juntamente
con el material, y pulse el interruptor de corte
automático del hilo o presione el interruptor de pedal de corte del hilo después
de bajar el prensatelas.
(Los hilos de aguja y de bobina se cortan
automáticamente.)
WA la fin de la couture, remonter l'aiguille et le pied presseur. Tirer ensuite le fil
d'aiguille et le fil de canette en arrière d'environ 10 cm avec le tissu. Abaisser le
pied presseur, puis appuyer sur le bouton de coupe automatique du fil ou sur
l'interrupteur au pied de coupe du fil (le fil d'aiguille et le fil de canette sont
coupés en même temps).
W Draw the needle thread onto the reverse side
of the material. Fasten the needle thread and
the bobbin thread together. Then trim the both
threads near the knot.
M Saque el hilo de aguja al lado erróneo del
material. Ate el hilo de aguja y el hilo de
bobina. Seguidamente, corte ambos hilos
junto al nudo.
M Tirer le fil d'aiguille à l'envers du tissu. Nouer
ensemble le fil d'aiguille et le fil de canette.
Couper ensuite les deux fils prs du noeud.
