Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat with the Base
Storing LATCH/UAS for Installations with Vehicle Belts
When using your vehicle Lap/Shoulder
or Lap Belts to secure the Base in the
installation sections on pgs. 43-61, the
LATCH/UAS Connectors MUST first
be securely stored in the Base. Loose
Connectors could seriously injure vehicle
occupants in the event of a crash or
interfere with vehicle belt installation.
To store the LATCH/UAS Connectors:
1. Fully extend the LATCH/UAS Strap on
each side of the Base
2. Slide each LATCH/UAS Connector
back into its Storage slot until an
audible CLICK is heard.
