Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat with the Base
6. Pull LATCH/UAS Adjustment Strap while
pushing Base tight against the seat.
Remove all slack from the strap, being
careful not to overtighten, then lay
the free end across the Belt Path. The
SafeLock Belt Tensioner will tighten the
system fully.
7. Press down on the sides of the
SafeLock Belt Tensioner until an audible
CLICK is heard. If Belt Tensioner does
not lock, try loosening the LATCH/UAS
Strap slightly, then try to close again.
