3 Lubrication
CAUTION
The Bien-Air Dental micromotors MCX
LED and MCX are maintenance free.
CAUTION
Do not spray any lubricant or cleaning
solution into the motor fig. 7!
Packing and storage
The device must be stored inside the
sterilization pouch in a dry and dust
free environment. The temperature
must not exceed 55°C (131°F). If the
device will not be used for 7 days or
more after the sterilization, extract the
device from the sterilization pouch and
store it in the original package. If the
device is not stored in a sterilization
pouch or if the pouch is no longer ster-
ile, clean, lubricate and sterilize the
device before using it.
CAUTION
If the medical device has been stored
refrigerated, allow it to warm up to
room temperature prior to its use.

CAUTION
Comply with the expiration date of the
sterilization pouch which depends on
the storage conditions and type of
packaging.
Servicing
CAUTION
Never disassemble the device. For all
modification and repair, we recom-
mend you to contact your regular sup-
plier or Bien-Air Dental directly. Bien-
Air Dental recommends the user to
have its dynamic instruments checked
or inspected at least once a year.

Other precautions for use

The device must be used by a qualified
professional in compliance with the
current legal provisions concerning
workplace safety, health and accident
prevention measures, and these work-
ing instructions. In accordance with
these requirements, the operators:
• must only use operating devices
that are in perfect working order; in
the event of irregular functioning,
excessive vibration, abnormal heat-
ing, unusual noise or other signs
indicating malfunction of the
device, the work must be stopped
immedia tely; in this case, contact a
repair centre that is approved by
Bien-Air Dental;
• must ensure that the device is used
only for the purpose for which it is
intended, must protect themselves,
their patients and third parties from
any danger, and must avoid con-
tamination through the use of the
product.
CAUTION
To ensure the lifetime of the instru-
ment , it is essential to maintain the
quality of the cooling air and water
utilised. The compressed air should be
dry and purified and the compressor
should be regularly maintained. To
avoid the tubing and connectors from
blocking, the water should be filtered
and purified to avoid impurities and
build-up of high levels of calcium de-
posits.
WARNING
Rest the device on a suitable support
to avoid risks of infection for yourself,
the patient or third parties.
WARNING
The device is not designed for use in
an explosive atmosphere (anaesthetic
gas).
