IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This is an accessories (compliant with Dir. 93/42/EEC) and may only be used with medication
prescribed or recommended by a doctor. Before using the accessories, consult the instruction
manual. It is important that the patient reads and understands the information on how to use
the device and the nebulizer. Contact your retailer or nearest service center for any questions.
- The expected medical life of the accessories is 1 year. It is, however, advisable to replace the
accessories every 6 months in the event of intense use to always guarantee maximum ther-
apeutic efficacy.
- Children and disabled persons should always use the accessories under strict supervision of an
adult who has read this manual.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Before and after each use, the accessories should be cleaned according to the instructions in
the section "CLEANING SANITISATION DISINFECTION STERILISATION".
A personal use of the accessories is recommended in order to avoid any risks of infection.
1. Wash your hands thoroughly before you start preparing the inhalation therapy.
2. Connect the accessories as shown in the "Assembly diagram"
3. Adjust the position of the adjustable coupling based on the position of the infant; proceed
with treatment by activating the device as described in the user manual, keeping the
beaker in a vertical position.
CLEANING SANITISATION DISINFECTION STERILISATION
CLEANING AT HOME - SANITISATION AND DISINFECTION
SANITIZATION: The accessories that can be sanitized are (M0,M1,M2,R).
Before and after each use, sanitise accessories, choosing one of the methods described below.
method A: Sanitise accessories under potable hot water (approximately 40°C) with a gentle,
non abrasive dish detergent.
method B: Sanitise accessories in the dishwasher with a hot cycle.
method C: Sanitise accessories by immersing them in a solution of 50% water and 50% white
vinegar, then rinse thoroughly under potable hot water (approximately 40°C).
If you want to also perform the cleaning for DISINFECTION, jump to the DISINFECTION
paragraph.
After having sanitised the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on a paper
towel. Alternatively, dry them with a jet of hot air (for example, a hair dryer).
DISINFECTION: The accessories that can be disinfected are (M0,M1,M2,R)
After sanitising the accessories, disinfect them choosing one of the methods described below.
method A: The disinfectant must be an electrolytic chloroxidizer (active principle: sodium
hypochlorite) specific for disinfecting, which is available in any pharmacy.
