4. Electrical connection
All cabling and electrical connections must be carried out in
accordance with the regulations applicable in the country where
the equipment is installed and by personnel qualified to do.
Operation on a contact protection relay is recommended to
prolong the life of the contacts.
The electrical connection must be made according to the wiring
diagram printed on the switch. The contact should be connected
according to the desired switching function. The pertinent national
regulations must be observed.
The cable bushing (2) in the connection enclosure (1) must be
sealed.
Use of magnetic float switches with inductive or
capacitive load may lead to the destruction of the
reed switch. This may cause a malfuction to the
control circuitry and harm to persons or goods
Note
With inductive load, magnetic switches have to be connected to a
RC Network (see Data Sheet) resp. a recovery diode.
