Load mode
No matter which operating mode you are operating in, the front panel meter view returns the voltage and current
measurement from either output or sense terminal. Power measurements are displayed along with voltage and
current in the meter view.
The following meter view applies to CC mode. CV, CP, and CR mode views are similar. All measurements have an
over-range capability of 10% above the maximum range limit. If the measurement exceeds this limit, "Data Out of
Range" error will occur.
From the remote interface:
A channel parameter is required with each SCPI command to select an output. For example, (@1) selects output 1.
The output list must be preceded with an @ symbol and be enclosed in parentheses ().
Power supply mode
To switch the instrument to Power Supply mode:
EMUL PSUP
To set output to 5 V and 8 A :
APPL 5, 8
To enable output:
OUTP ON, (@1)
To measure the average output voltage and current:
MEAS:VOLT? (@1)
MEAS:CURR? (@1)
Load mode
To switch the instrument to Load mode:
EMUL LOAD
To set input load operating mode to CC:
FUNC CURR, (@1)
To set input to 2 A.
CURR 2, (@1)
To enable input:
INP ON, (@1)
