WARNING!
Turn off and cool down the engine before removing the fuel tank cap.
WARNING!
Gasoline is an extremely flammable fuel. Keep clear of naked flames. Do not spill
any fuel. Do not smoke.
WARNING!
Always mix and refuel in a well ventillated area.
5.3- Start/Stop the engine
Cold starting the engine
• Press the primer pump until the fuel runs out of the clear tube.
• Set the choke to "CLOSE" position. (Fig. 3a)
• Set the power switch (4) to the "ON" position. (Fig. 3b)
• Rest the machine on stable ground. Firmly grip the front handle (8) with one hand, then grip
the starter handle (1) and slowly pull until resistance is felt, then pull straight out rapidly.
(Fig. 3c)
• Allow the rope to rewind slowly and if necessary, repeat this procedure until the engine
starts.
• When the engine is started, set the choke to "OPEN" position gradually.

Warm starting the engine

• Set the choke to "OPEN" position. (Fig. 3a)
• Set the power switch (4) to the "ON" position. (Fig. 3b)
• Rest the machine on stable ground. Firmly grip the front handle (8) with one hand, then grip
the starter handle (1) with another hand and slowly pull until resistance is felt, then pull
straight out rapidly. (Fig. 3c)

starts.
Stopping the engine
• Release the throttle trigger (6) and allow the engine to run at idling speed for 30 seconds.
• Set the power switch (4) to the "OFF" position.
