Both system joints have a total range of movement of -95° to 95° with
an adjustable flexion or extension stop. The spring tension is infinitely
adjustable with the supplied Allen key and the joint can be locked and
unlocked in almost any position.
Please note: ensure that the system joint is positioned correctly, i.e. the
MultiMotion logo must be legible on the housing (not upside down).
The joints can be used at both the left and right side and can be set with
force in flexion or extension direction. This direction of force depends
on the side of the body and the patient's joint for which the system joint
is used. The tension spring is painted red on one side and yellow on the
other. The table below shows the force direction per joint, body side
and spring colour. As standard, the joint is delivered with the red side
of the tension spring facing upwards in the cassette.
