Specialists applying and using the MultiMotion system joint are
expected to use and apply their professional judgement when select-
ing, fitting, adjusting and adequately educating the patient or carer, in
order to minimise the potential risks to each individual patient.
These risks may include the mentioned contraindications, but may also
be associated with the unique patient characteristics or circumstances
of the patient's carer. In addition, there are possible risks of creating
micro lesions, retractions in the muscle belly, inducing spasms, pres-
sure spots or other.

The MultiMotion system joints incorporate components made of vari-
ous types of materials, including:
• Steel/stainless steel
• Plastic
Maintenance recommendation
The tension spring in the system joint is already greased with PTFE spray
during assembly. For optimum operation, keep the tension spring free
from dirt and other external influences that could affect its operation.
We recommend checking the joints every 6 months for functionality
and possible wear and tear.
Cleaning instructions
The joint parts of the system joint can be cleaned but are not resistant
to aggressive agents such as acetone or similar. Try to keep the joint
free from dust and dirt as much as possible.
