Please read these user instructions carefully before starting to use
the product. Pay particular attention that you follow the safety
instructions.
Usage Guidelines
• The product must be fitted by or under the supervision of a competent
professional.
• Special precautions must always be taken for patients with a visual im-
pairment, cognitive limitations and/or reduced sensibility in the upper
and/or lower extremity.
• Changes, modifications and adjustments to the product that are not de-
scribed in these instructions, are done under the responsibility of the
person carrying them out.
Intended use of the product
Orthotics with a MultiMotion dynamic correction system joint - herein-
after called the 'system joint' - are used for the treatment of dynamic
corrective limb contractures in accordance with the Low-Load Pro-
longed Stretch (LLPS) method. This involves applying a low force to a
limb over a longer period of time in order to correct or prevent the
contracture. The system joint is to be used exclusively in orthotics for
the upper or lower extremities and should not be weight bearing.
Indications / Contraindications
The MultiMotion system joints can be used with children and adults for
the treatment of dynamically correctable contractures and/or for their
prevention.
