Fault
The machine does not run.
Dust generation when sweep-
ing / insufficient suction pow-
er.
The cleaning result is unsat-
isfactory.
The roller brush or side
brushes are not rotating.
Malfunctions
Cause
The power supply to the machine is inter-
rupted.
The waste container is full.
The dust filter is clogged.
The dust filter is damaged.
The dust filter is installed incorrectly.
The sealing strips on the roller brush box
are incorrectly adjusted.
The sealing strips on the roller brush box
are worn.
The seals on the filter box are loose or
damaged.
The sealing strips on the waste container
flap are loose or damaged.
The side brush is worn out.
The roller brush is worn out.
The sealing strips on the roller brush box
are incorrectly adjusted.
The sealing strips on the roller brush box
are worn.
The wet sweeping flap is open.
The coarse dirt flap is open.
The power supply to the machine is inter-
rupted.
The "Drive" program is set.
The roller brush or side brushes are
blocked.
The waste container is not completely low-
ered.
Rectification
1. Sit in the driver's seat in order to activate the seat con-
tact switch.
2. Check whether the emergency stop switch has been
pressed, if necessary unlock the emergency stop
switch, see chapter Emergency stop switch.
3. Turn the key in the key switch to position "I".
4. Read the battery charge status in the display, charge
the battery if necessary, see chapter Charging the bat-
tery.
5. Check that the left and right-hand claddings are closed,
close if necessary, see chapter Open/close the left/
right cladding.
6. Check whether the battery connector is correctly
plugged together, if necessary plug it together correctly,
see chapter Disconnecting/connecting the power sup-
ply.
7. Check the fuses, replace if necessary, see chapter Re-
moving/installing the fuse.
8. If the machine still does not run, inform the service de-
partment.
1. Empty the waste container, see chapter Empty the
waste container.
1. Clean the dust filter, replace if heavily contaminated,
see chapter Removing/cleaning/installing the dust fil-
ter.
1. Replace the dust filter, see chapter Removing/clean-
ing/installing the dust filter.
1. Install the dust filter correctly, see chapter Removing/
cleaning/installing the dust filter.
1. Adjust the sealing strips correctly, see chapter Adjust-
ing/removing/installing the sealing strips.
1. Replace the sealing strips, see chapter Adjusting/re-
moving/installing the sealing strips.
1. Have the seals on the filter box replaced by the service
department or have them fitted correctly.
1. Have the sealing strips on the waste container flap re-
placed or fitted correctly by the service department.
1. Replace the side brush, see chapter Checking/remov-
ing/installing the side brushes.
1. Replace the roller brush, see chapter Removing/
checking/installing the roller brush.
1. Adjust the sealing strips correctly, see chapter Adjust-
ing/removing/installing the sealing strips.
1. Replace the sealing strips, see chapter Adjusting/re-
moving/installing the sealing strips.
1. Close the wet sweeping flap.
1. Have the coarse dirt flap repaired by the service depart-
ment.
1. Connect the power supply, see chapter The machine
does not run.
1. Set the program selector switch to "Sweeping with roll-
er brush" or "Sweeping with roller brush and side
brushes", see chapter Program selection switch.
1. Check the roller brush or side brushes for wrapped,
flexible objects such as ribbons, strings etc. and re-
move them, see chapter Removing/checking/installing
the roller brush and Checking/removing/installing the
side brushes.
1. Lower the waste container completely, see chapter
Empty the waste container.
