Intended use
The Dräger X-act 7000 is used to determine gaseous compounds in the
ambient air. Depending on the Dräger MicroTubes used, the device measures
the smallest of concentrations of the corresponding substance, predominantly
in the ppb range.
For sensor measurements, a system of sensors and hoses (graphic C/3)
measuring up to 45 meters in length may be connected to the device using the
coupler (graphic C/1) and the X-am pump (graphic C/2).

Approval
An image of the name plate and the declaration of conformity can be found in
the accompanying supplementary documentation (Part No. 93 00 082).
Intended Operating Area and Operating Conditions, Hazardous Areas
classified by Zones
The device is intended to be used in hazardous areas classified with zone 0,
zone 1 and zone 2, within a temperature range as marked on the device, where
gases of explosion groups IIA, IIB or IIC and temperature class T4 may be
present.
Information about the list of standards to which the device complies is given by
a facsimile reproduction of the EU-Type Certificate and the IECEx Certificate of
Conformity or in the EU-Declaration of Conformity.
If the device is used in off-shore applications, a distance of at least 5 m to any
compasses must be maintained.
