● Adjusting the boundary range: warning area and static correction area
Adjustment buttons on the transmitter enable you to increase or decrease the width of the warning and static correction zones depending on
the configuration of your yard and how the wire is laid.
The width of the warning zone is adjustable by using the central button located on the front of the transmitter (ref. Diagram 1).
The warning zone is adjustable from 1.3 ft to 20 ft (approx.) on each side of the wire.
A graduation from 0 to 10 helps you to define the width of the zone according to your needs (0 = approx. 1.3 ft – 10 = approx. 20 ft).
The static correction zone is adjustable by using the 3-position switch located on the front of the transmitter (ref. Diagram 1).
approx. 1 ft (on each side of the wire)
approx. 2.62 ft (on each side of the wire)
approx. 5 ft (on each side of the wire)
IMPORTANT
Detection distances vary depending on the length of antenna wire laid out on the property.
The widths indicated are approximate and vary depending on the configuration of each installation. The longer the antenna wire, the
narrower the zones.
● Testing the pet fencing system (boundary range)
Before releasing your dog into his play area, you need to physically evaluate the extent of the authorized zone. Make sure your dog has enough
space to move freely within the defined limits.
The wider the zones, the lower the escape risks. Therefore, you have to find a good compromise between zone width and freedom space.
In order to test the installation, proceed as follows:
 Before doing so, make sure the receiver collar is turned Off (battery removed from its housing).
 Fix each wire of the neon test lamp under each contact point (unscrewing them lightly and retightening them so as to pinch the test
lamp wires).
 Turn On the transmitter and the receiver collar.
 Set the warning and static correction zones on the levels that seem appropriate.
