194. Place the radio hatch cover in position on the bottom of the
fuselage. Secure the cover using two M3 x 15 socket head
cap screws and two M3 washers. Use a 2.5mm hex wrench
to tighten the screws.
Î Place a drop of canopy glue on the screws before
installation. This will keep the screw from vibrating
loose yet leave them easily removable if necessary.
‰ SEAT INSTALLATION
195. Thread the 1/4-20 x 7/8 inch nylon bolts into the nylon nuts
in the cockpit floor. Leave the bolts loose at this time.
196. Slide the seat over the bolts. Adjust the height of the bolts
from the cockpit floor so the seat fits snugly when slide into
position.
Î It may require adjustment of these screws and test
fitting the seat a number of times before the correct height
of the screw is set. When correctly adjusted, the seat
will fit securely, but still be removable when needed.
197. Thread the 1/4-20 x 7/8 inch nylon bolts into the nylon nuts

199. Remove the seat and secure the cockpit floor in the fuselage
using the screws previously removed.
200. Fit the seat into position.
‰ WINDOW INSTALLATION
201. Test fit the windows from the inside of the fuselage. Use
hobby scissors to trim the windows as necessary to fit into
the fuselage.
202. Use canopy glue or contact adhesive to secure the windows
in the fuselage. Use low-tack tape to hold the windows in
position until the glue fully cures.
203. Mix 10g of 15-minute epoxy. Use epoxy to glue the
windshield supports into position.
Î Use only enough epoxy to secure the supports
in position. Using too much epoxy will cause it to run
down the vertical surfaces inside the fuselage.
