Equipment and tools: tape measure, pencil, drill/power screwdriver, set of metal drill
bits, power screwdriver bit, electrician's scissors, screwdriver.

Calculating the number of thrust / fastening points

10.2.
If the window is more than 120 cm wide, more than one thrust / fastening point should be
provided by installing more than one actuator or rods witout motor.
The following simple formula can be used to decide the positions of these points.

10.3.
L. Use a pencil to mark the center line of the window on both the moving and fixed parts
(Fig. 10.2). 1). In case of more than one actuator on the same window, mark as indicated
in the § 10.2.
M. Position the motor holder bracket on the edge of the window in the fixed part matching
the center line sign and mark the four fixing holes (Fig. 10.2). 2).
N. Drill the window with a suitable drill bit and assemble the motor holder bracket, making
sure to tighten the screws well (Fig. 3 and Fig. 3bis).
O. Now position the front bracket on the center line of the moving part of the window and
mark the fixing holes on it ( Fig. 4).
P. Drill the holes with a suitable drill bit and assemble the front bracket making sure to tighten
the screws well (Fig.5 and Fig. 5bis).
Q. Take the clamp screws and fit them to the motor holder bracket. Leave them loosened by
at least two turns.
