5.1
Charging the battery
Be sure to follow the safety instructions when handling the battery: "2.2 Safe use of the battery pack" on page 36.
Please fully charge the battery before your first ride.
1. Fold away the dust cap on the charging port.
2. First connect the charger to the mains and then to the charging port on the bike.
→ The battery is fully charged when the LED on the charger shines white.
5.2
Switching the system on/off
1. To switch the system on, briefly press the On/Off button on top of the top tube.
→ The system is activated and the LED shines white.
2. To switch the system off, press the On/Off button on top of the top tube longer.
→ The system is switched off. The LED goes out.
5.3
Battery status display
After switching the system on, the status is indicated by the colour of the permanently lit On/Off button:
• Shines white: battery capacity higher than 75%
• Shines green: battery capacity between 50% and 75%
• Shines orange: battery capacity between 25% and 50%
• Shines red: battery capacity less than 25%
• Slowly flashes red: battery capacity less than 15%
• Quickly flashes red: battery capacity less than 10%

Choosing the assistance level
By pressing the On/Off button several times, you can choose between 3 assistance levels:
• Press once: Assistance level 1: On/Off button flashes green
• Press twice: Assistance level 2: On/Off button flashes orange
• Press three times: Assistance level 3: On/Off button flashes red

that you have entered for the ebikemotion app on your mobile phone. Here you can view bike status, activities, reports,
