For softer or more ductile materials, the clear-
ance a must be decreased; for harder or more
brittle materials, increased.
Loosen the fastening screw for the bottom cutter

justment screw 6. The upper cutter 4 and the bot-
tom cutter 5 may not touch each other. Retighten
the fastening screw for the bottom cutter 7.

Before any work on the power tool itself, pull
the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep the
power tool and the ventilation slots clean.
Replacing the Blade (see figure A)
The upper cutter 4 and the bottom cutter 5 are
identical, have four cutting edges each, and can
be exchanged with each other.
Turn or replace the cutters in good time. Only
sharp application tools achieve good cutting ca-
pacity and make the machine last longer.
If required, the cutters can be reground. When
regrinding, pay attention that the cutting angles
are maintained.
To replace the upper cutter 4, loosen the fasten-
ing screw 3; to replace the bottom cutter 5, loos-
en the fastening screw 7.

Turn the cutter by 90° or install a new cutter.
When installing the bottom cutter 5, pay atten-
tion that it faces against the adjustment screw 6.
Retighten the fastening screw for the upper cut-
to be cut.
