13. Maintenance
DANGER – Risk of Electric Shock
Possible risk of injury.
Turn power OFF at either
the panel board or the load
center before performing any
maintenance.

Maintenance of the EV 3000 DC Fast Charger
must only be performed by a qualified
technician.
!
The circuit before the main terminal remains
hazardous, even with the key switch in the
OFF position.
!
Turn off the main breaker and auxiliary
breaker before any maintenance work.
!
The EV 3000 does not contain any user-ser-
viceable parts. Do not open the EV 3000.
!
Do not use harsh cleaning agents (e.g. Ace-
tone, Benzene, etc).

Opening the EV 3000 voids the warranty.
Take note of any status code displayed on the
EV 3000 LCD, before switching power off.
Wipe the EV 3000 clean with a non-abrasive,
damp cloth.
Maintain a clear and ventilated space around
the EV 3000.
Replace air filters every 6–12 months.
Check for signs of liquid penetration, and
immediately disconnect power if any sign of
liquid penetration is found.
Check charging connector for signs of damage,
and discontinue use if any damage is found.
14. Decommissioning

Temporary shutdown
For an extended period of non-use:
Disconnect the EV 3000 from the voltage
supply.

Changing location

If the EV 3000 is handed over to someone
else, hand over all the documentation
included in the scope of delivery as well.

The EV 3000 must only be transported in
the original or equivalent packaging.

Read and follow the instructions concern-
ing initial commissioning.

Disconnect the electrical port.

Disposal
EV 3000, accessories and packag-
ing must be recycled in an environ-
mentally friendly manner.
Do not dispose of the EV 3000
in general trash.
