General settings

17.5.1
Maximum recording time
The answering machine can digitally save up to 60 incoming messages
with a total length of 16 minutes. The maximum length for each incoming
call is 2 minutes. If the caller's message is longer, the call is
disconnected. If there is a pause in excess of 8 seconds during
recording, the call is automatically ended. When the memory capacity for
incoming messages is used up, no further messages are recorded. The
caller receives a message indicating that no messages can be left.
17.5.2
Setting the volume on the answering machine
If the volume of the answering machine is too high or low when playing
back messages or listening−in to incoming calls, it can be adjusted to
one of 5 levels.
