7 Caller Number Display (CLIP Function)
The caller number display feature enables you to see who is calling when the call is
received. If this function is provided by your telephone service, the number of the caller
appears in the display when the telephone rings. If the caller's number is stored in the
phone book, the name appears in the display instead of the phone number.
If the caller has suppressed transmission of their phone number, the message
appears in the display. The phone number is not displayed in this case and, therefore, not
stored in the calls list.
A total of 24 phone numbers can be stored in the calls list so that you will not miss any
calls even if your are absent. As soon as the list is full, the oldest phone number is deleted
from the list. If new phone numbers have been stored in the calls list in your absence, the

icon flashes in the display.
Caution: The caller number display function is an optional service offered by
telephone network providers. The caller number appears in the display if the
service is offered by your telephone network provider. The display of the date
and time is not transferred by all telephone network providers. Contact your
network provider for further information. Transfer of the phone number or the
date and time is not always possible either in some private branch exchanges.

7.1.1 Selecting phone numbers from the calls list
Proceed as follows to view the phone numbers in the calls list in the display:
