The two digits of the status information have to be interpreted as one byte. The indi-
vidual bits of this status byte have the following meaning:
bit 0 set:
A reading result is available. This bit will be deleted after query of a
reading result.
bit 1 set:
The last reading was successful.
bit 4 set:
A trigger was activated without the last reading result being queried.
This bit will be deleted after query of a reading result.
To calculate the check digit the character codes of positions 4 and 5 are added. The
check digit is the result of the sum modulo 256.
