The display screen darkens with the lo-
wering of the temperature below -10°C.
The display screen returns to normal
when the temperature rises up again.

Safety in trafÀ c
According to the Highway Code, ve-
locipedes must be equipped with two
functional brakes that are reciprocally
independent, a clearly audible bell, a
headlamp, rear light, retro-reÀ ective pe-
dals, reÀ ective sides to the front and rear
wheel (or reÀ ective tyres).
The bicycle is suitable to travel on tarmac
roads and dedicated cycle tracks. Do not
utilise the bicycle to cross streams, go
off road or take part in competitions. Be
careful when riding; at an average speed
of 18 km/h you are travelling at 5 me-
tres a second. Consequently maintain a
suf¿ cient safety distance from other road
users.
For your safety do not ride without hands
or alongside other velocipedes. It may
be necessary to recognise danger signs,
therefore do not use earphones whilst
riding.
Safety whilst riding
To guarantee a safe ride ensure that
the saddle is at the correct height, the
handlebars adjusted for your build, the

pressure of the tyres is the prescribed
pressure, the wear of the tyre tread is
within limits and the brakes and lights
function correctly.
Before utilising the bicycle and every six
months, have the concessionaire check
that the nuts and bolts, steering bea-
rings, saddle, handlebars and the rela-
tive stems, pedals and the crank wheel
are properly tightened.
However, after a certain period of utilisa-
tion tighten the ¿ xtures and ¿ ttings.
