Programming water hardness
The BODY+SOUL determines after how many uses the Clean
Program has to be started.
This cycle is based on the water hardness value set. Water
hardness is preset to 31-35°GdH (= highest hardness value).
To enable the best possible protection for your BODY+SOUL
set the water hardness value to that of the area where you
live. Adjustment of the setting is only possible when the
steam generator is turned off – the blue ring around the
ON/OFF key may not shine or blink!
Adjustments made can be returned to the default settings at
any time.
Display
Check the current water hardness setting
The steam generator has to be turned off.
• First press and hold the (+) key, then in addition press and
hold the CLEAN key. Hold both keys together for at least 2
seconds.
• The Clean LED begins to blink rapidly (flicker), the current
setting is shown on the LEDs 1 to 7.
• Do not press any other keys. The control returns to its original
status after approximately 5 seconds.

The steam generator has to be turned off.
• Press and hold the (+) key. In addition press and hold the
CLEAN key. Hold both keys together for at least 2 seconds.
• The Clean LED begins to blink rapidly (flicker).
• Use the +/– keys to set the water hardness according to the
following table.
• If no key is pressed for approximately 5 seconds the values
displayed are saved.
• All LEDs go off, the control returns to its original status.

Return water hardness value to default settings
The steam generator has to be turned off.
• First press and hold the (+) key, then in addition press and
hold the (–) key and in addition press and hold the CLEAN
key. Hold all 3 keys together for approximately 2 seconds.
• The water hardness setting returns to the default setting.
