Remove the hose clamp, holding the jet hose to the pump by
sliding the clamping heads apart.
Pull the rim supply hose out of the vitreous china hole.
Work the pump off the bowl supply hose, and remove the
pump with the rim hose attached.
Remove the hose clamp, holding the rim hose to the pump
by sliding the clamping heads apart.
Work the rim hose off the pump.
Remove the flow restrictor from the rim hose with a needle
nose pliers.
The flow restrictor slip fits into the rim opening in the pump,
and is held in place by the rim hose.
To install the pump and hoses follow steps in reverse order.
G. K-3437 SEAT REPLACEMENT
Loosen the screws. While removing the screws, catch the
hinge screw nuts from inside the tank. Remove the seat
assembly, retaining any parts that will not be replaced.
Set the bushings over the hinges. Set the screws through
the hinges. Slide a rubber pad over each screw on the
underside of the hinges.
Slide the right and left hinges with pads and screws into the
seat post holes. When looking from the front of the toilet, the
hinge bushings should face in toward each other and slant
toward the back of the toilet.
NOTE: If the right and left hinges are reversed, the seat
and cover will not rotate correctly.
Attach the hinge screw nuts by accessing the underside of
the seat post holes through the tank. Turn the hinge screw
nuts three or four turns for now.
Hold the toilet seat ring and cover together, so the brackets
are aligned. Align the seat ring and cover over the hinges
and bushings. Slide the bushings from the outside in through
the seat and cover brackets.
Align the seat on the toilet. Tighten the hinges with a slotted
screwdriver.
