4. TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
The troubleshooting guide below is meant for general aid only. All fittings in this toilet are preset by the
manufacturer. Any problems not covered in this chart should be referred to your installer/dealer. Disconnect
power to the toilet before servicing.
SYMPTOM
A. Pump does not turn on.
B. Fill valve does not turn on.
C. Fill valve continues to run,
allowing water to enter tank.
D. Fill valve runs intermittently.
E. Pump draws air during flush.
F. Long or noisy tank fill cycle.
G. Poor flush.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Pump not plugged in, or power
not on.
2. Tripped circuit breaker.
3. Pump lockout.
4. Trip button not plugged in.
5. Pump failure.
1. Supply stop closed.
2. Fill valve clogged.
3. Float valve seal cracked or split.
1. Foreign particles lodged under
the float valve seal.
2. Float valve seal cracked or split.
3. Incorrect water line height.
1. Incorrect water line height.
2. Water leaking past jet hose spud
gasket into bowl.
1. Incorrect water line height.
1. Plugged valve inlet or supply line.
1. Used short flush for heavy waste.
2. Clogged trapway or rim holes.
3. Soil pipe or vents are clogged.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Refer to following sections for
detailed corrective procedures.
1. Plug the three prong plug from
the pump into Class A GFCI, or
turn on power to toilet.
2. Reset circuit breaker.
3. Wait two minutes and retry.
4. Plug modular plug of trip button
wire into jack in trip button
housing.
5. Replace pump.
1. Fully open supply stop.
2. Unclog fill valve. (Install filter in
supply line to prevent recurring
problems.)
3. Replace valve assembly.
1. Clear particles from valve seat.
2. Replace valve assembly.
3. Set water line height.
1. Set water line height.
2. Replace spud unit (see
installer/dealer for instructions).

1. Clear particles from valve seat.
1. Use long flush side of button for
heavy waste.
2. Unclog trapway or clean rim
