Adjusting the viewfinder

Adjusting the angle of the viewfinder

The angle of the viewfinder barrel unit can be adjusted in a range from 0 ° to 300 ° as shown in the figure
below. Adjust it to the angle that assures the best viewing.
• Rotate the viewfinder barrel unit toward the subject side, and the images and character displays can then
be inverted vertically so that the images can be seen from the subject side.
In cases like this, the normal images can be displayed by setting the MIRROR switch on the viewfinder's
rear panel to B/T. (Page 6)

Flipping up the viewfinder barrel unit

The lock lever can be slid to flip up the viewfinder barrel unit and perform operations while viewing the LCD
monitor directly.
• If the MIRROR switch on the viewfinder's rear panel is set to L/R when performing operations while viewing
the LCD monitor directly after flipping up the viewfinder barrel unit, the image can be left/right reversed so
that normal images are seen. (Page 6)
Note
If there is any dirt on the mirror, remove it referring to "Detaching the eyepiece and performing
maintenance". (Page 13)
