Preparation of the tractor prior to attaching the mower
1. The parts supplied for fitting to tractors
prior to attaching the mower (Fig. 3) are as
follows:
(a) Two mounting brackets (A) Right and Left
hand.
(b) One cross member (B) for mounting brackets.
(c) Four mounting bolts (C) for mounting brackets
(Ford tractors or four mounting bolts (L) for
plates (J) (Massey Ferguson MF 245 & MF
20D tractors).
(d) Rear cross member (D) with four bolts (E).
(e) Two mounting bolts (F) for front cross member
(B) (5/8" UNC x 3" long).
(f) Two bolts and nuts (G) (MF20D and Ford 333)
or six bolts and nuts (G) (MF 245) with four
packers (H) (MF 20D and Ford 333) or eight
packers (H) (MF 245).
(g) Two complete check chains and brackets with
bolts and nuts fig. 4 (Ford only).
(h) Mounting plates (J) for Massey Ferguson
tractors MF 245 (Fig. 5) and MF 20D (Fig. 6)
