9. Setting Terminator Status

Set terminator status at S010 on the outdoor unit control board.
This switch is set to "SHORT" at the time of shipment.
When multiple outdoor units are connected by control cables, leave one unit in the factory default setting, and switch all of
the other units to the "OPEN" setting.
In Fig. 3, there are 2 systems consisting of 3 outdoor units. In such a confi guration, switch 2 of the outdoor units to the "OPEN"
setting, while leaving the remaining unit in the "SHORT" setting.
* This setting is not necessary if there is only 1 outdoor unit.

10. Items to Check before the Test Run

(1) In order to activate the crankcase heater, turn the remote power switch on at least 5 hours before starting operation.
(If this is not done, the compressor may be damaged.)
(2) Fully open the wide tube, narrow tube, and balance tube valve. (Rotate the tabs slowly counterclockwise 90°.)
For 3Way Multi, please fully open the closing valves of the suction gas (wide) tube , discharge gas (medium) tube and
liquid (narrow) tube .
Fully open all of the shutoff valves (for the suction gas (wide) tube, discharge gas (medium) tube, and liquid (narrow) tube).
Rotate the tabs slowly counterclockwise 90°.
(3) Check that the carboard and styrofoam that were used for transport have been removed from the indoor fan and the
automatic fl ap.
