Recutting advice
Recutting is a delicate operation. To obtain a quality cut:
- use a tube-cutter tool allowing a check that the cut is exactly perpendicular.
- fix the tub-cutter rigidly in a vice, and orient it so as to cut vertically.
- use a special carbon saw, if not, a worn metal saw blade.
- After cutting deburr any burrs with fine sandpaper
Attention: comply with the maximum recutting limits indicated on the products.

Armpad adjustment

It is possible to adjust your armpads in 3 directions:
- Front <-> back (« Armpad Reach »)
- Left <-> right. (spacing)
- Top <-> bottom (« Armpad Stack »)
To keep an ergonomic position for the whole forearm/wrists, the armpads can also be oriented
inwards.
All the M5 countersunk head screws must first be covered with a drop of normal threadlock
(Loctite blue 243 type) then clamped using a 3mm Allen key to 4Nm torque.
«Armpad REACH» and spacing adjustment
There are 3 possible positions for the armpad reach on the 796 depending on the location of
the screws.
- in & to reduce your REACH by -20 mm

- in & to centre your armpads
2 3
- in & to increase your REACH by +20 mm

Note : If you do not succeed in reaching your position it is possible to use a different length
stem.
