TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING
Risk of electric shock! Repairs to the appliance and work on the
electrical components may only be carried out by a qualified specialist
company! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
The appliance has been checked for proper functioning several times during production.
If malfunctions occur nonetheless check the appliance according to the following points:
Problem
The appliance does not
start.
The appliance has
automatically switched
itself off:
The appliance works with
reduced or no capacity.
The appliance is running,
but there is no air cooling
or pump operation.
Water is leaking.
Solution approach
Check the power connection.
Check the power cable and mains plug for damages.
Check the on-site fusing.
Keep the air inlet clear to prevent the motor from
overheating.
Check whether the overheating protection has tripped
(see section "Operation").
Check the position of the horizontal ventilation flaps.
They should be opened to the maximum.
Check the air filter for dirt. If necessary, clean or
replace the air filter.
Check the minimum distance to walls or other objects
Position the appliance a little more in the rooms centre
if required.
Check whether cooling mode is activated. The
LED indicator for the cooling mode (22) should be
illuminated.
Check the filling level of the water tank (see section
"Filling the water tank"). The LED indicator for the
cooling mode (22) should not flash.
Check whether there are any objects blocking the pump
inlet. Make sure that the pump inlet is not blocked.
In case the pump does not operate despite a correctly
filled water tank and activated air cooling mode, the
pump might be defective. Contact the customer service.
Check the appliance for leaks.
Check the water tank for tight fit.
