Smoke exhaust roof fans F400/F600 – B VD
Make sure that the accessibility is ensured during installation . If necessary, clad inside of ceiling cut-out/
opening .

B FDS:
− Before mounting the smoke exhaust roof fan B VD, remove the screwed-on washers and nuts from the threaded
bolts of the flat roof base B FDS.
− Ensure that the four threaded bolts in the corners of the flat roof base are properly guided through the provided
drill holes in the base plate.
− Screw smoke exhaust roof fan to flat roof base.
− Observe tightening torque recommended in section 3.7.
B SSD:
− Insert base attenuator in flat roof base.
− Ensure that the four threaded bolts in the corners of the flat roof base are properly guided through the provided
drill holes in the support frame of the base attenuator.
− Place smoke exhaust roof fan on flat roof base, the base attenuator is screwed together with the fan.
− Observe tightening torque recommended in section 3.7.
